Just enough Linux to boot checkra1n on any PC
You will need
A USB flash drive at least 512MB or larger
64-bit or 32-bit AMD or Intel PC
You do not need to install additional software or an OS.

Write bootra1n to USB

Reboot and run checkra1n
Reboot your computer and enter your BIOS's boot menu
Select the flash drive, and it should boot into the login prompt
Log in as: anon
password: voidlinux
At the $ prompt, enter: sudo checkra1n
Shutdown/Restart
Quit checkra1n and at the prompt type
sudo shutdown -h now to shut down
sudo shutdown -r now to restart

as such should not be installed on a primary devices

The exploit may not work as reliably on some devices
such as the Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi 3.
When trying to jailbreak multiple devices
only the first attempt will succeed
Workaround: relaunch checkra1n after every jailbreak attempt
Unsupported platforms
This beta is only available for macOS and Linux
Work is ongoing to support Windows
which will be added in a later release.
Package managers
At the moment, checkra1n only supports installing Cydia
Support for other package managers is coming soon
and will not require a checkra1n update
